WELCOME TO SEPIATONIC! Emerging from the emerald twilight of Portland, Oregon, Sepiatonic is a vaudeville-inspired dance and music experience. Half extraordinarily exuberant dance party and half variety show of versatile vixens, this project always brings innovative audio and visual entertainment! Sepiatonic provides an unforgettable experience of live horns, original electronic beats, electro-swing, house, and bass music, and of course dazzling performance acts. They always dress to express and drop dirty beats with a touch of vintage class!

Sepiatonic has performed at music festivals internationally, from Electric Forest (Michigan, USA), to Lightning in A Bottle (California, USA), Oregon Eclipse, to Rockový Slunovrat (Prague, Czech Republic). They have performed at dance and circus festivals such as Tribal Fest Hanover (Hanover, Germany), to the Electro-Vaudeville Festival (Vancouver, British Columbia), Umbrella Festival (Oregon, USA), bringing a unique dance party to diverse audiences.

Sepiatonic is available as a trio of core members, Karolina Lux (dance, vocals, trumpet), Anthony Meade (trombone, vocals, production), and Ezel (upright bass, vocals, production), but also boasts an arsenal of many award-winning dancers/circus performers, and additional musicians. Other performers can be added upon request, depending on an event’s needs. Workshops in dance, theater, and music are also available.

Karolina Lux: Is an award-winning, internationally touring performer and educator of belly dance, burlesque, and theater. Also trained in street/club dance, contemporary dance, and vintage jazz/swing, she has brought her diverse skills to such acclaimed acts as Beats Antique, March Fourth, Vau de Vire Society, and headlined such events as The Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival, The Dublin Burlesque Festival, and appears dancing and teaching on multiple DVDs. She also plays trumpet, sings, and composes for Sepiatonic.

Anthony Meade: Anthony has run brass bands, wailed with blues bands, blazed with jazz bands, rocked out with Klezmer punk ensembles, all while wielding his trombone and voice with a skillfully flexible grace that notes understanding of both frontman and side man, composer and band member, leader and teammate. Anthony has toured with and composed for MarchFourth since 2011 and writes for horn and string ensembles in the recording studio for as diverse artists as The Blind Boys of Alabama and Peter Himmelman.

Ethan Zirin-Brown (Ezel): is an electronic producer, songwriter, bass player, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. He co-founded, produced, and played in the Eugene, Oregon based live hip-hop band The Juice to Make it Happen, produced four albums with vagabond crooner Unkle Nancy and his band of gypsy pirates known as the Family Jewels, and often tours with his cabaret superstar sister, Lady Rizo.
