Giraffes? Giraffes!
Giraffes? Giraffes!
Guitar and drums duo GIRAFFES? GIRAFFES! have been expanding the conception of math-rock and experimental-pop since their explosion into the San Francisco Bay area in 2005. As part of the west-coast math-rock pioneers, many consider their second album "More Skin With Milk-Mouth" to be one of the quintessential albums that helped popularize the genre. With every new release, they continually make music that is both melodic and technical, experimental yet accessible- their innovative compositions and energetic live performances are known internationally to be both transcendental and incredible fun.
Mylets
Mylets
Mylets is a solo project by Southern Indiana native Henry Kohen.
Childspeak
Childspeak
Near the end of 2013, four like minded artist reached out to one another to escape from the gray and dreary Eugene winter. First playing music together as a project for friendship’s sake, the group soon found that their mutual creativity expanded beyond music, and within this environment their talents could grow. Over time this heaven allowed for free experimentation and soon the conglomeration of their individual interests and musical talents formed the unique blend known as Childspeak. Mixing structure with improvisation, imagery with sound and history with emotion, the post-rock mixed media group shares a passion for exploring creativity and feeling in whatever form it strikes.

Fed from a desire to create and grow, the group found the formation to be quite serendipitous. All lead from different paths, the meeting of Derek, Bryan, Bri and Tj would be a crossroads in all their lives, helping them grow and flourish as individuals and together as the Childs family.

The band released their debut full length album, Daydream Sparkle Party in December 2015 as a suggested donation download on bandcamp.com. The album was fully produced in Portland, Oregon. Recorded and mixed by Kevin Drake at Dead Aunt Thelma's Studios, mastered by Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Audio and the album artwork was produced by Bri Childs.
Thom Simon
Thom Simon
thom simon started as a solo project in Santa Cruz, California, born from Jeff Wiseman's many long nights of smoking spliff, drinking 32s of High Life, and creating mazes of sonic patchwork by candlelight.
Using Jeff's background as a drummer, guitarist, and audio engineer, thom simon's visceral sound began to take shape, utilizing electronic drum sounds and riff-heavy guitar parts. It took on a bit more dynamic elaboration with the addition of Lindsay Kunhardt on keys and backup vocals.
Multiple influences are speckled throughout thom's catalog. Ranging from eerie and elegant songs such as "unknown" and "leaks" to danceable synth tunes like "move" and "weep woop" all the way to lofty dream sequences like "days" and "true," at times thom simon comes across as a complete rip-off and at others previously unheard and unthought. Now based out of Eugene, Oregon, thom simon is a roller-coaster of spacey funky new-wave buried in delay and reverb; a sure shot equation to get you on your feet.
